I hear you rolling your eyes at the very idea of decorating for Thanksgiving, on top of everything else you need to do. I get it, you are up to your elbows in Thanksgiving turkey (literally) and you don’t really have time to come up with a decorating scheme yourself. This one is so easy it makes me want to laugh. Grab those apothecary jars you have around your house and go for a long walk to relieve some holiday stress. Your thighs will thank me for it later. As you are walking, stop to pick up some acorns or if you are not a “nature” person, you can also buy any kind of shelled nut. Stick a candle in the center and some greenery around to complete your holiday look. Yup, that’s right, you are done!

Here is another easy peasy one, gather up your pumpkins and gourds, add some fresh fruit, pine cones or nuts and a votive or two viola, your decor is simple, elegant, colorful and done.

Okay, so these little feather friends may not be hanging around your home but how freaking cute are they? I am fairly certain a Pier One store would have some version of these… I beg you to check it out, they’ll be a hit!
