At the end of the year, we all have a tendency to look back on the events in our lives and forward to our hopes for the coming year. With interior design, we can do the same: critically evaluate what works or doesn’t in our homes and come up with satisfying solutions.
Over the next two weeks, we’ll do just that — look back over 2014 and ahead to 2015 to talk about design goals and resolutions you can set for yourself and your home to make your New Year more comfortable and livable. Very often, people want to improve this or that in their home but just don’t know how to go about doing it. Of course, I am here to help with that!! But if you like to DIY, or just feel like a small change or simply want to know a little more about what makes good interior design work, then I’m here to help with that too! I am honored to have one of my previous blog posts included in this infographic created by Old Plank Road, an Antique furniture store based in Chicago, and it’s such a great survey of Interior Design fundamentals, that I’d like to share it with you.
Whatever your plans for the New Year include, I wish you a blessed and beautiful time, full of good things! And if you find yourself contemplating any remodeling or updating to your home, I would love to help you create a fresh, new look!
