I have written many times on this blog, how the home should always reflect the family’s personality, lifestyle and comfort level but beyond that, functionality plays a very important role.

Take into consideration the following… How many members are in the family. How often do you entertain and is it for large or small groups? Do you want a formal or casual feel in your home? Consider what colors look good on you when choosing paint color and fabric choices. Do you like bold color or neutral palate?
